Betaweld Silicasafe Welding Blankets
This ultra high performance silica glass coated welding blanket is ideal for protecting large or long painted and sensitive surfaces during the welding process. Excellent for use in maintenance shutdowns or projects where onsite hot work is carried out above or near existing infrastructure etc. The BHP spec’d blanket’s smooth surface provides total protection by allowing welding splatter and sparks to effortlessly fall away.
Features:
• Fire Retardant - Independently tested to AS2755.2-1985 & ISO 3795-1989
• Excellent for use in protecting large sensitive surfaces when welding
• High performance silica glass coated welding blanket
• Provides isolation protection from spatter and sparks
• Abrasion & allergen resistant
• Service temperature 1100°C
Applications:
Welding blankets, face curtains, turbine covers, stress relieving insulation, molten metal filtration, cable tray insulation and steam pipe lagging.
