Description

The RPB PX5 PAPR is a battery powered air purifying respirator fan unit which draws in contaminated air from the wearer’s immediate vicinity, passing it through internal filters and supplying the filtered air to an approved RPB loose fitting respirator head top.

Designed to be as compact and comfortable as possible, the Standard PX5 Starter kit is perfect for applications which do not contain sparks/fire risk, such as medical and pharmaceutical, wood working, construction, powder coating/painting, silica/stonework and general dust. The unit is IP65 (in use) and IP67 rated.

The PX5 has three built in fan speeds:
• Speed 1: 170+ lpm(12+ hours run time)
• Speed 2: 210+ lpm (9+ hours run time)
• Speed 3: 230+ lpm (8+ hours run time)

The PX5 also has built in audible, visual and physical alarms, to warn the wearer when their filter needs to be changed, or when there is only 5% of their battery charge remaining.
