How to enter & conditions of entry

The Competition commences at 7.00am WST on 1st February 2020 and entries close at 5.00pm WST on 31st March 2020 (Promotional Period).

To be eligible to enter, individuals must have purchased Betaweld Flux Cored Wire during the term of the promotion.

Ticket qualifications are –

  • For every 10 spools of Betaweld Flux Cored Wire receives 1 ticket (1 entry)
  • For every 1 pallet of Betaweld Flux Cored Wire receives 10 tickets (10 entries)
  • For every 5 spools of Betaweld SL Seamless Flux Cored Wire receives 1 ticket (1 entry)
  • For every 1 pallet of Betaweld SL Seamless Flux Cored Wire receives 20 tickets (20 entries)

Betaweld Flux Cored Wire referred to in the above promotion consists of the following part numbers: 2058, 2059, 2060, 2094 & 2095 and Betaweld SL Series Seamless Flux Cored Wire referred to in the above promotion consists of the following part numbers: 2143, 2144, 2145, 2146, 2150 & 2151.

Who can enter?

Entry is only open to customers of Alphaweld Supply Group.

Promoter is Alphaweld Supply Group and the competition will be conducted in Western Australia.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

Incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

Entrants must retain their original receipts for the transaction. Failure to produce the proof of purchase when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter result in invalidation of an entrant’s entry and forfeiture of any right to a prize.

All entrants must complete the draw "Acceptance" agreement to be eligible for participation.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using their names in any company social media page.

The Prize

The prize to be won is 1 (one) x DJI Mavic Air Drone valued at RRP$1,399.00AUD (inclusive of GST).

A single prize will only be drawn and is not transferable or exchangeable or cannot be taken as cash.

The following conditions apply to the prize:

If the prize is for unforeseen circumstances unavailable, the Promoter then in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.

The prize must be picked up at the Promoter's address or arrangements made for freight collection.

The Draw, Draw Scrutiny & Redraw

The draw for the prize will be conducted by Alphaweld Supply Group at 13 Meares Way, Canning Vale WA 6107 on Wednesday the 1st of April 2020. The first valid entry drawn from all entries will win the prize.

The winner of the Prize Draw will be notified via phone by the Promoter within two (2) business days from the draw date. Their name will also be published on the Promoter's Social Media pages.

The decision of the Promoter is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.

The winner has the month of April 2020 to claim their prize. If the prize is unclaimed after this period, then there will be a redraw conducted by the Promoter for the unclaimed prize. In such event, a redraw will take place on 1st May 2020 at the same location as the original prize draw.

The new winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the redraw.

Promoters Rights.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

To disqualify any entrant; or

Subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.

The Promoter only collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition. The Promoter will only keep your personal information for only if is necessary to carry out the purposes described above (unless we are required or permitted by law to hold the information for a longer period). The Promoter may use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy at our Privacy Page. 

Transactions will be conducted according to Alphaweld Supply Group's Trading Terms.

Entrants should direct any request to access, update and correct information or opt out to the Promoter.

All entries become the property of the Promoter.

No liability of the promoter

In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoters’ ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoters may in their absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”).

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to the following:

Any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);

Any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;

Any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;

Any loss or damage to the prize in transit;

Any tax liability incurred; or

The use or enjoyment of the prize.
